What we collect, and what we don’t.
Plain English, no boilerplate. Last updated 2026-09-28.
Who is responsible
Safarimondo is operated by Dennis Kristensen. For anything on this page — a copy of your data, a correction, a deletion — write to dennis@eserian.com. A real person reads it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the planner. We do not buy data about you, and there is no account to create.
Your name and email address
Why: So your trip brief can be saved against your details, and so we can reply to you about this trip. Nothing else.
Where it goes: Stored in our Supabase database (`consumer_leads`), written server-side only.
Your planner answers — travel party, timing, destinations, style and budget band — plus any notes you add
Why: They are the brief. They decide the destinations and the budget band we show you.
Where it goes: Stored alongside your contact details in the same database record.
A generated itinerary, when the AI planner is switched on
Why: So your result page can be reloaded from its link instead of regenerating.
Where it goes: Stored in `consumer_itineraries`. Generating it sends your brief — never your name or email — to Anthropic, our AI provider.
The emails we send you about your brief
Why: So you have a copy of the brief you built, and so a new brief reaches us instead of sitting unseen.
Where it goes: Sent through Resend, our email provider, which receives your name, email address and brief to deliver the message. A copy of the brief comes to us at the address above.
Anonymous usage analytics
Why: To see which pages are read and whether anything is broken.
Where it goes: Google Analytics 4, and PostHog in cookieless mode (session-storage only, no cookie, no cross-site tracking).
What we will never do
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not send your brief to any tour operator. If that ever changes, we will ask you first, on the form, before anything is sent — it will never be buried in a policy update.
- We never take a payment from you, so we never hold card or bank details.
- We do not run retargeting pixels or advertising cookies.
- If you message us on WhatsApp, we see your number, your profile name and what you send, and the conversation runs on WhatsApp under its own terms.
How long we keep it
Your brief stays until you ask us to remove it, or until it is clearly stale — we review and clear old briefs at least once a year. Ask sooner and we will delete it sooner.
Your rights
Get a copy, or get it deleted
Ask us and we will send you everything we hold about you, or delete it. Deleting your brief also deletes any itinerary generated from it — they are linked, so nothing is left orphaned.
Correct it
If anything we hold is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
Withdraw
You gave us this to plan a trip. If you change your mind, say so and we will remove it — you do not need to give a reason.
Complain
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
